Block party wpa poster

This WPA style poster was designed to promote the local block parties that take place in downtown Anderson. The imagery utilizes sights that can be taken in as the event unfolds on a summer night—the musicians, the dancing,  and the iconic streetlights. Combining this imagery and color palette makes the event recognizable and informs viewers of the environment and feel of the block party.
