MOJO ON MAX BRANDING
A hoodoo-voodoo inspired branding, the logo for “Mojo on Max” was designed to represent a quickly up-and-coming musician.
Max tunes into his mojo (a special magic revolving around good luck, confidence, charisma, and being good at a craft) every time he plays, thus putting his “Mojo on Max” during performances both by himself and with his band. The logo identifies Max as a black magic voodoo doll being symbolically pricked with the pins of influence – in his case artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan with the Texas blues, Jimmy Page with classic rock and roll, and Willie Nelson with country jazz – in a gritty illustration style but warm color palette that his performance style lends to.
